Last night I was having a bit of insomnia when I heard something in the tree outside my window. Do you see it?
Here's the close up...
I thought this a rare enough occasion to warrent waking Josh up for. Fortunately he agreed. His exact words were "I don't think I've ever seen one of those in the wild." I thought this a funny statement as I never expected anyone to ever combine the words "in the wild" with where we live in Los Angeles.

we totally have a family of them living in the trees around our complex, too! It's too wierd.
That's funny! Did you toss him a snack?! He's pretty cute :o)
Once we had an angry opossum trapped in our backyard (in CA). So I guess it can be pretty "wild" in Southern CA!

LOL - that's cool. According to my definition, anything outside of four walls is considered "the wild."
