Rolling

We often head over to Airport Park in Santa Monica. It's pretty small but it's one of our favorites because it has a nice grassy area, a small assortment of playground toys, a dog park, and the airplanes constantly flying over. The only thing is that it's not that great during the middle of the day because there is NO shade on the playground...the best time of day for this park is around sunset.

Anyway, yesterday we found something new to love about this park. If you venture a little bit to the North you can go around the Airports main building and find an observation deck. We had a great time just sitting right there watching the planes take-off and land over and over. Emily was still talking about it this morning (and so was Dad).

On the way back we stopped at a nice grassy hill and instructed Emily in the finer arts of rolling down hills. I think I had almost as much fun watching her roll as she did doing the rolling!
