Christmas at Old Town

We'd been planning on going to Old Town to see the Christmas lights for a few weeks, but as the date approached we were realizing that the weather may not cooperate with our plans. We debated on wether to go or not, but in the end we decided to brave the rain...and we were glad we did.

It rained the entire evening and was really cold outside, but the lights were nice and we had a fun evening of yummy pizza, pasta and breadsticks, wandering through funny shops and watching the rooftop Christmas show. The even had the Polar Express running, but tickets were sold out. I think next year we're going to buy some tickets early in the season.

That's just a string from a balloon in front of me, but I thought it looked cool.

Thank goodness for the rain cover on the stroller! I've never used it before, but it sure came in handy that night.

We didn't realize until after we got downtown that we had left Emily's jacket at home. We lucked out and found one of my BYU sweatshirts in the trunk. It was huge on her, but she stayed warm.
