Another twin transition conquered

It started about a month ago with Spencer climbing out of his crib. The darn kid has no fear and hurts himself all the time. For nap the first day I tried to have Spencer in a toddler bed and Haley in the crib, but she wouldn't have it. If he was free she had to be too. That night when Josh got home we rotated the kids bedrooms and moved Emily into the twins room and the twins into Emily's room. Four hours later we were finished and the twins were spending their first night in their "toddler beds". The first night went fine because they didn't get to bed until late. They fell asleep (on the floor) pretty quickly. The next few days were pretty rough with little napping, and late nights but after about a week and a half they figured it out and are now sleeping well again. Yay!

They do have their own beds, but this is how we find them about half of the time. We move them back to their own beds before we go to bed at night.

I love that they climb into bed together. So cute!

When we got bunkbeds I drilled it into Parker's head that she could not climb into bed with Zoie any more because it was dangerous. Now I feel kind of sad for her that she doesn't have that time with her anymore.

Congratulations on making it through the switch. I can't imagine it with 2 at the same time.
