Halloween!

Halloween was really fun this year. I can't tell you how sad it was sitting in a Thai resturant by ourselves last Halloween wishing that we had something fun to do. Anyway, as usual Josh and I decided not to dress up...yes, we're boring. We also decided that Emily was too young to spend much money on a "fancy" halloween costume and just bought her a little Halloween type sleeper. Then comes the big day. We show up at trunk-or-treat with our sweet babe in her sleeper and all of a sudden I felt the pressure to be cute. I have tried to avoid this parent peer pressure to try and make/feel that my kid's the cutest. However, this night I lost the battle and felt like a loser with a big ol' L! There were so many cute (and tiny) little babies in their sweet little costumes and they put Emily to shame. Oh well. I'll just keep reminding myself that babies aren't in any competitions here and that I really won by spending way less money!

It's a darling sleeper and much more practical. You have the rest of her life to get her all dolled up when she actually will enjoy it instead of being uncomfortable! Don't cave to the pressure! :)

When we were at church today she asked if the person sitting in front of us was "Becky" I said No, and that Aunt Becky and Baby Emily were at thier home.....and that was Sister Myers. She said "I dont like sister myers!" Then proceded to cry for you
