So I guess I should post something for January. Honestly, I've just been a little anti everything this month. Maybe it's just holiday recovery or something but I just haven't been in a posting mood. Come to think of it, I don't think I took more than a handful of pictures either. Most of the pictures below are ones taken by other people when we were out and about.
I guess the main theme for January was "HOT". The weather here has been unseasonably warm and we spent many days at the beach. I couldn't believe the kids were playing in the water as it was still painfully cold, but they loved it. The last day we went I finally gave up and went home early because I just couldn't keep Emily out of the water and the waves weren't great for playing in that day.
We also had one memorable evening spent at the "airport/dog park" when it was beautiful and warm outside. It was just one of those perfect nights where everything feels warm and fuzzy. After the park I even let Josh convince me to try Titos Tacos again...and surprisingly enough I actually liked it this time. (For you non-LA natives Titos is a Mexican food/Taco stand that is a major icon around here and everyone raves about it.) I hated it the first time we went and hadn't been back. Honestly, the guacamole would be worth going for even if everything else was terrible.
As an end of the month wrap-up I did score two pairs of jeans at the Gap outlet for less thatn $18 each. I wasn't really planning on buying anything for myself, but I just couldn't pass that up.

I love Titos Tacos! Hopefully you had a better 2nd experience. One time when I was there as a missionary, a member from south of LA paid for my and my companion's food!
What shoes does Emily have on in the pictures at the GAP? Sketchers? They are super cute. And yeah for the GAP outlet on getting jeans for $18! That is a great deal anywhere!

I share your (previous) disdain for Titos and never understood the craze. Reading your posts makes me feel almost like I'm still in L.A., so don't give up on the blogging just yet! It's good to see what y'all are up to (even if I don't comment very often), and I can't believe how big Emily and Brent are getting!
