I think the cat's out of the bag...

Well despite the fact that I wanted to wait a little longer before going public the truth of the matter is that I'm terrible at keeping my own secrets. I think that all of my family knows, and most of my friends know, and most of my ward knows...so here it is....



WE'RE PREGNANT AGAIN!!!


Honestly, the getting pregnant part went so much easier this time around than it did with Emily, and had we known that we probably would have waited a little longer before heading back to pursue another round of IVF. The thing is it took us almost 8 years to have Emily and we didn't want her siblings to be way younger than her so we felt like we had to get going. The super part is that it only took one try this time. Honestly it was a miracle and we were totally in shock as we were prepared to have to go the distance.

For those of you who think you see two babies...you're right! It's twins! Officially I am 12 weeks and our due date is November 2nd. However, it's highly likely that they will really be born in early October. We're very happy and excited about this but also nervous and scared. As time passes it's moving more from nervous and scared to more happy, although I think as delivery gets nearer it might go back the other way. Anyway, unlike my simple and easy pregnancy with Emily things have already gotten complicated and I have to see a high risk doctor and go to weekly (yes...pain in the rear WEEKLY) appointments. It's hard to feel too excited about everything when you feel like the other shoe may drop at any moment. We're taking it week by week and praying that in the end we end up with two healthy babies. I guess that's part of why I'm putting this out there is because any extra prayers you could send our way would be greatly appreciated.

I'll try to update at least every few weeks so that everyone can rest assured that things are still going as smoothly as can be expected.
