We Moved!

Well we moved at the end of March. It was horrible. I had forgotten how much I hate moving. I think it was worse this time because we only moved around the corner and had to load/unload in one day. We are sooo grateful for all of the nice guys in our ward who turned out to help, we could never have done it without them.

I also owe a big thanks to my friends who pitched in and took Emily for a few hours each day for almost a week so that I could pack with out her "helping". We are mostly unpacked now and are feeling sort of settled. Still a few small things to do and some re-organizing that needs to be done now that we've been here a few weeks and are finding some things would be better off in a different place.

Some of you have asked for pictures...I took a few but they make the place seem worse than it really is. Plus, compared to the houses that so many of you are fortunate enough to own it seems like a pretty lame place. That being said it is so much better than our last apartment and Josh and I actually have our own room again. Sooo nice! While it may be awhile before we have the opportunity of home ownership (thanks to living in West LA) I thank my lucky stars every day that I no longer have carpet in my dining room and that I have lots of natural light in the new place.
