Just like their older sister, Emily, Haley and Spencer decided to make an early entrance. Both were born at about 9:00 pm on September 26th at just under 35 weeks. Spencer came first, weighing in at 4lb 12oz, with Haley arriving immediately after at 4lb 3oz. Both babies are in the NICU but not having any major problems. Haley just needs to eat and grow, but Spencer is still having a little trouble breathing and is receiving some oxygen. Other than that mom feels like she got hit by a bus and we all need some sleep. Papa is just happy to be a part of it all.
We really haven't had a chance to take very many pictures yet, and none are very good. Poor little preemies aren't exactly the cutest things right now but we love them anyway.

Congratulations!!! I've been thinking about you the last couple of days and wondering if there were any babies here yet.
I love all of your kids names. Especially Spencer ;oD Our Spencer is a super rascal, I hope yours is better behaved for you.
I felt bad for you carrying twins, until I see that each of my kids weighed more than both of your twins put together!! They're precious, and I hope I can see them one day.
I hope you can get some rest and that your babies will be good sleepers for you.
Take care!
Congratulations! I've been anxiously awaiting the news! So glad to hear neither of them needed to be intubated - such a blessing. Hope you get feeling better soon. I would love to help in any way I can since my three are in school now! Also, let's schedule a photo shoot when you feel up to it... Newborns are the best to photograph! xoxo Heidi
Congratulations! They both look so sweet. Hope all continues to go well.
Yeah!!! I am glad they came...though it is nice when they can hold off till full term. And I agree with you about preemies--it's hard to get a cute photo of them full of tubes and small heads, etc. One nice thing for me was that Elden since Elden was so early, I had time to recover before he came home...but none of my other kids were with me either. I bet you have a lot of driving back and forth to do and still take care of Emily. Do you get free meals at the hospital if you are nursing? I am excited to keep up with the journey. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the day that Elden was released from the NICU and I got to walk out of there, carrying him all by myself. Such freedom and of course, it was great to be a "family" again.
They look adorable, and we are glad to hear that things went and are going well!! Let us know if you need anything!!!
Congratulations! I'm glad everything went well. Blessings on you and your family. May you rest well and be well taken care of!
Congratulations!! Lovely names and lovely babies! I wish you and your babes a speedy recovery. :)
We are so happy for you! Glad to hear that you all are doing good. Did you even get to go on your hospital tour? :) Congratulations and we look forward to meeting the two of them in the future.

Congratulations, Becky and Josh! They are beautiful, even if you don't think the photos turned out. :) We'll pray all continues to go well. We did the NICU route and it gets old so hang in there. I would love to help any way I can... just let me know. Love, Lindy
Congratulations! All babies are beautiful - so fresh from Heavenly Father!
congratulations! we are so excited to meet Haley and Spencer.
What?!?!? I thought you were waiting for October. I guess I'll be waiting alone.
Did you go into labor on your own? I am dying for the details. I am glad they are here safely and hopefully they'll starting eating and growing lots. I hope that you are doing well and have lots of help. Congrats!!! I am so happy for you!!
Two more weeks....
PS Cute names (my sister's name is Hayley).
Congratulations!! Great name choices. I called yesterday to see if my girls could come over and Josh said you were at the hospital. It appears things happend fast! Let me know how I can help. We'd love to have Emily over for a playdate anytime. I'm glad to see you are well and blogging! We'll keep you all in our prayers.
Wow! Congratulations!! We are so happy for you guys! I hope they are out of the NICU soon and you can take them home. Get some rest while you can and post pictures when you have a chance! They are darling...so little!
Congrats!
Mike and Lisa
Congratulations! Your tiny little preemies are adorable. Love the names too. Hope you are able to rest, that recovery goes well, and your babies grow and come home with you soon.
We are so happy that your beautiful babies are here and that all is well. "Feeder/growers" are the best kind of NICU babies to have. Spencer will work out his oxygen issues. They are just a few days older than my girls were. So happy for you! Congratulations.
Congratulations! Take care. They are so sweet.
Congratulations you guys! That is fantastic news! Everyone rest up and get strong, we'll see you when you're ready!
