New Friends

Things are slowly getting better for Emily. She still has random memories of her "best friends" (ie: Brent, Parker, & Elsa) but she doesn't mention them quite as often as she used to. In a way it kind of breaks my heart that she won't remember her little friends as she gets older. Her relationships with them were very special to me. I doubt that she'll have relationships like that again until she's older. It's been a little hard for me to have to watch her be "the new kid". I didn't realize before now that she was a little bit shy because she had spent her entire life with the other kids and never didn't know them. Anyway, it is getting better. She loves going to nursury and is starting to learn the kids names. It will be nice when we finally get our house in order and I can start having people over.

One thing that she's always remembering lately is when Parker threw up on the toys outside of Brents house after playgroup one afternoon. Such a wierd thing to always remember, but for some reason she does. I think she tells me about once every couple of weeks that "Parker barfed on the toys". She also tells me that "Elsa made my bracelet, I miss Elsa". She talks about Brent all of the time, it just comes up in random places and random times for no apparent reason. The she always ends each comment with "he is far away now".

Wow, this turned into a long post when really I just started with the goal of posting this picture of what she calls her "new other friends". These stuffed animals now rule my house and our lives. I'm just glad she's happy.
