Laurel....jumping back in

I've been meaning to get back to blogging for some time now, but it was difficult with Josh working out of town Monday through Friday and having the computer with him. I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed at the task of trying to back track through all of our pictures so I've decided just to jump in where we are and maybe slowly go back and backdate some new posts as I have time to catch up for lost time. Anyway, nothing like having a new baby to spur the blog back to life. Laurel Nicole Dey was born on July 5th, 2013. 6lbs 0oz and 18.5 inches long. The immediate impression of her was that she was tiny and LOUD. This little girl has a set of lungs on her and has several times now caused her siblings to cry out that she is hurting their ears. She had her nights and days mixed up for a few weeks, but now (at 5 weeks) she's doing pretty well waking only once or twice a night and going back down fairly easily most nights. She's eating like a champ and sometimes looks like she wants to smile, but can't quite get it out yet. We're so happy she's here. She's loved by everyone and our "new normal" is going pretty well so far. I'm not sure how we will get out the door early enough once school starts again in the fall, but I'm sure we will figure it out.
