I took Emily to Picture People this week to get her first "real" photos taken. What an experience...so it turns out that it's not very hard to sell you pictures of your own kid. Someone should warn you before you go in that you will want to spend a small fortune and that you may even want to buy the ugly ones. Although we were happy with the way the pictures turned out I am now experiencing buyers remorse about my little spending spree. What I didn't know at the time was that they post the pictures online and you can review and order them from home. This is a much smarter option for me as it was hard to choose from so many poses while sitting in the store with a crying baby. Anyway here's one of her best shots...

She is GORGEOUS! And you look so great too!It was fun to see the Martin's too. That was the first I'd seen their baby.
And yes, those photo places know how to get money out of you...I finally learned how to just pick one or two poses and buy only a certain number of sheets so that I don't have a gazillion extra. Good luck!
