First off I need to say that I have a wonderful and loving husband and I'm grateful that he offers to run to the store to pick up "whatever you need" on his way home from work....but....he always comes home with a little extra.
For example, this weekend I was sick and needed some tylenol and yogurt from the store. Josh happily stops in at Ralphs on the way home from work. Here's what was in the bags...
1. Ice cream, in a new and never before tried flavor
2. More ice cream, in a flavor he thinks I may enjoy
3. One carton of E.L. Fudge cookies (both of our favorite cookie by far. They have some kind of magical property that allows you to eat the entire box and not feel sick.)
4. Tylenol
5. Three times more yogurt than I asked for
What a great man. He obviously doesn't value having a sleek and sexy wife. One day I asked him if it bothered him that I've gained 50 lbs. since we got married (dumb question I know), his reply "you've gained weight?" seems impossible to believe that he hasn't noticed, but he really seemed like he meant it.
So, as you may notice from my last post, the ice cream is not contributing to my general healthiness and I warned Josh that if I found myself wanting to dig into the freezer this morning that I was going to chuck both cartons of ice cream down the trash chute so that I wouldn't eat them. He says that's fine. What a man!

Becky, this post had me laughing out loud! Josh, you are a nice guy :o)
I think it's cute he brought you treats when you were sick, to help you feel better.
Paul does this too at the store, even when I'm with him, as I unload the cart, I find several mystery items that I didn't put in.
Sheila
haha! with craig it's always chips and soda, and a chocolate bar for me. :)
