31 weeks...going strong, but wearing out.

Okay, so I hate posting about myself but everyone keeps wanting to know how I'm doing. Truth be told, I'm totally over being pregnant right now. I've got about 5 weeks left to go and I wish there were some way to sleep through it. Not that I'm ready in any sort of way to have to take care of two babies plus Emily, but if there were some way to just pretend I weren't pregnant for a little while it would be wonderful! That being said I must say again that I am EXTREMELY lucky to be pregnant at all and want to kick myself for wishing it away. I should just be thanking my lucky stars that we have any sort of proginy other than our stupid cats (anybody want two cats...free to good home). Really I feel fine minus the normal aches and pains of pregnancy. Nothing unusual or unexpected. I've even managed to avoid much swelling despite the crazy heat wave we're experiencing. So...there you have it. Let the count down begin!

So are you being induced 4 weeks early?
I feel for you, girl. Good luck. Pregnancy is rough, but a necessary step in getting these babies here, and I really don't like it much. ANd it is okay to vent; it's how you'll get through it! I hope time passes quickly for you.

That last month is rough with just one baby, let alone two. I'm glad you're doing as well as you are, you look great. Get as much rest as you can this month. :o)

I know every time I want to complain about being pregnant I remind myself that I am lucky to be having babies. You're doing great. Keep on keeping on.

I think we're on the same count down schedule, except I am counting down to 40 weeks (Oct. 11ish). Do you already have a date scheduled?

Thanks for the update on YOU!! It is so funny how you(me as well) get to a point when enough is enough but there is still a few more weeks to go, but then wonder why because babies are so much easier inside you than out!! I can't even imagine having TWO babies inside doing somersaults all over. Good job with the no swelling!! How have you done that chasing around a two year old in the heat? Good luck we wish you the best!

Not sure why, but that stupid cats comment made me laugh pretty hard. Good luck in the last weeks - I'm sure you'll be wonderful at double duty when the time comes, though!

I remember someone telling me that at 28 weeks she got really uncomfortable with twins. I thought that wouldn't happen to me. But yep, 28 weeks came and I was uncomfortable. And don't you love the feeling that your belly is about to rip off come 11am or so? Just a few more weeks! YEAH!

You can do it and it's alright to be grumpy! You kids will do better the longer they can stay inside, but I wanted mine out @ 30 weeks and made it to 34w 2d. Hope you can hang in there. You're doing a great job.
