Well somehow or another we made it over to the annual trunk-or-treat at the church. It was a bit of a crazy day. Mostly because Emily is trying to start transitioning to one nap per day. Of course she skipped her morning nap today when I wanted her to be well rested for the late night. Anyway, we had a nice day shopping while Josh was taking his big licensing exam in Pamona and then we had lunch at Panda Express where Emily loves to eat Chow-Mein.
By the evening she was not in such great spirits and had a hard time being happy. We tried to cheer her up with a couple of cupcakes (oh no, are we teaching her to be an emotional eater already?)but it was a no-go. By the time we got home we were all more than ready for bed. So all in all Haloween's been a bit rough so far...and we still have the "real" night left. As far as I'm concerned we can just skip on over to Thanksgiving. Bring on the turkey!

Why did they do the trunk or treat so early? I thought they usually do them on Halloween. And check out the costume without a turtleneck, leggings, or snowboots, must be nice! She looks adorable with her little cupcake face :o)
She looked really cute anyway! Looks like Josh dressed up too! But Becky was a no go??
