Yesterday we had a big surprise. When we arrived at the hospital for our morning visit the doctor popped in and told me that Spencer would be being discharged that evening. For some reason I had assumed that they would be giving me a day or two notice....guess not!
So yesterday evening Josh and I were able to load up and leave with our little boy. It's so nice having him at home now. It will be even better when we've got them both here with us. Hopefully Haley will be coming home by the end of next week...we'll see. We're saving the big party for when we no longer have to head over to the hospital every day.

Emily was pretty happy to have "Baby Spencer" home too. She's been loving on him and asks to hold him all of the time. She even came out of her room dragging the blue blanket that was hanging on Spencer's crib and told me that he wanted his blankie.
Another cute thing. I'm a little worried that Emily will try to feed the babies things that she shouldn't, so I've been trying to prepare her by quizing her about what types of things babies do or don't eat (ie: everything's a no except for milk). Last night after we got home I asked her what baby Spencer eats and she told me that he eats green beans and tootsie rolls. Guess we need to keep working on it.

He is so TINY! Oh my goodness. Wonderful news that he is home...glad things are looking up! And Haley should be joining you soon. HOORAY!
Yay! One home and one to go. Hopefully soon :o)
They are so darling, I love their 'twin' shirts.
We have the same little shirts. I love that you got one of them home. It's going to only get better from here.
OOOH- So Cute!!! I need to give you a call some time (when you don't have your hands fun!
I saw your mom at the fair the other day and she said you had twins. I couldnt wait to find your blog to see pictures. How exciting! They are so precious. That is so exciting that your little boy is home. It was so hard to leave my daughter in the hospital each time we left her in the NICU and she was only there for 3 days after I went home. So I can imagine how difficult it must be. Congratulations.
This is wonderful news! I'm so glad that they're doing so well. It will be nice to have Haley home soon, also. We'll come by when things aren't so hectic, but if you need anything before, please call. :) Love ya!
