Thanksgiving 2008

I keep feeling like I need to post something about Thanksgiving. The problem is that we didn't really take any good pictures or do anything that exciting. We drove up to Sacramento and spent the week with my Dad. We just did the regular Thanksgiving stuff like eat and lay around doing nothing. See...wouldn't that make a boaring picture? Anyway we did take one or two pictures of the table before we ate, it looked pretty with my Grandmother's fall themed china. Maybe I'll get the pictures from my dad's camera and post it up later.

Other than that I ended up spending an extra week out of town while Josh took the train back beacuse my car wasn't working. We had changed the belts for "routine" maintainence, but then the timing belt just wouldn't stay tight after that. If you don't know anything about cars...no timing belt equals no car. Then a week later it still wasn't working and I took the train home too. Somehow we will get reunited with the car soon....I hope.

I think the highlight of the entire trip was Emily playing with the dog. I really need a dog. I hardly had to do anything to entertain Emily because she just happily played with the dog. Problem is I'm not really a fan of indoor dogs, so the dog will just have to wait until we move out of our apartment some day.

Overall it was a very nice holiday. Relaxing. Fun.
